About Enterpreneurship Study Centre

The establishment of entrepreneurship study Centre (ESC) is in accordance with the directives of federal government which stipulates that entrepreneurship education must be included in to the curriculum of university education in Nigeria.

The intent is to imbue graduates with the mind set of entrepreneurship culture in order for them to generate and realize new opportunities in the economy.

Apart from providing entrepreneurship courses as currently packaged by the national university commission (NUC) as a curriculum, the center stimulates other entrepreneurial programs within and outside university environment.

The center also coordinates and provide entrepreneurship training to the interested individuals, private and public organizations with the aim of imparting them knowledge on entrepreneurship this includes; Business services providers(BSP), Business support centers, collaboration and partnership with government and non-governmental agencies within and Abroad.

Importantly the center is currently providing services to the SMES in the area of access to finance, Business planning development, Access to market, managing business growth and business opportunities.

The center conduct research in collaboration with a Grant secured from the European Union (EU) and other important agencies.

The center host entrepreneurship activities in collaboration with the CBN, SMEDAN, AMERICAN EMBASY, BRITISH COUNCIL and ADAM SMITH UKAID (MAFITA).
